QuickTime Effects contains 8 effects (Flip, Mixer, MotionBlur, PayTV, Conversion 4:3 - 16:9, Conversion Aspect Ratio, Dimmer Transition, Isolate color) to use with standard video editing tools (Final Cut, Premiere, Quicktime Pro, HyperEngine-AV, ...)

Mixer
Mixes the last N images together, giving the feeling of a motion blur. The number of images to be mixed can be configured (2, 4, 8, 16 or 32). This is a very simple motion blur algorithm ; it is thus very fast and can be used in real-time.

Motion Blur
Blurs the last images to increase the motion feeling. This is a very efficient algorithm that can be used in real-time

Conversion 4:3 – 16:9
Correct the aspect ratio of your movies such that you can play 16:9 movies in a 4:3 format (by scaling the movie and adding horizontal black borders) or play a 4:3 movie in a 16:9 format (by scaling the movie and adding vertical black borders).
4:3 and 16:9 are the most used video format. This effect has an easy to use interface to make quick conversion between these 2 formats.
If you want to convert other formats, use the next effect.

Conversion Aspect Ratio
Correct the aspect ratio of your movies such that you can play any format in any format (by scaling the movie and/or adding horizontal/vertical black borders).
This effect has a more advanced user interface where you can accurately enter the aspect ratio of your source and destination movie. You can also choose between two operation mode :
• Scale the movie
• Add borders

Flip
Inverts your images vertically and/or horizontally

PayTV
Scrambles your images like some Pay TV does.
Each line is offset by a random number of pixels ; the maximum amplitude of the offset is configurable.

Isolate Color
Transforms your image into a black and white image except for one of the basic color (red - green - blue) that is not modified

Dimmer
This transition fades down from one source to a user defined colour then fades up to the second source.

What's New:
Added the Fade effect and updated the help files.
