QuickBom is a small AppleScript that quickly lists the contents of a .pkg installer file.
It is most useful in conjunction with the Big Cat contextual menu plugin but it can also be used as a droplet or with Apple's Script Menu.

This AppleScript quickly performs an lsbom on the selected .pkg file and opens the output in TextEdit. You can drag .pkgs onto the script or select them from the Finder and launch the script via a contextual menu.

Completly freeware.
