PoorMansPinger is a small aplication that enables you to ping a specific range to TCP/IP addresses.
Output is recorded into a FileMaker Pro 7 database.

I put an Open Network Utility button on the FileMaker layout so you can further investigate a specific TCP/IP address which interests you. This solution is free and the ... AppleScript is editable. I hope you enjoy using it.
