Podcast AV lets you enhance your podcasts by adding links and pictures to them. These podcasts can then be viewed in iTunes 4.9 or on an iPod with a color screen.
With iTunes 4.9, Apple added support for subscribing to and listening to podcasts. They also added support for something called "enahnced podcasts". Enhanced podcasts are normal aac audio files that have chapter titles, pictures, and links embedded in them.
Podcast AV uses Apple's ChapterTool utility to add convert your audio files into multimedia-rich podcasts.
Podcast AV is shareware
Or at least it will be. At the moment, it's beta software and so it's free to download and try. When version 1.0 comes out, Podcast AV will cost a modest amount to register.
Here are some key features of "Podcast AV":
Make your podcasts with aac, wav, aiff, mp3 or any other audio file format that Quicktime supports.
Add images and links to get your point across clearly.
Add and remove chapters by clicking and change their play time by drag and drop.
Drag pictures and links from any other program to quickly flush out your enhanced podcast.
Output to your color iPod or to the web and iTunes.

What's New:
fixed a slowdown that was caused by trying to edit a chapter title afer several chapters had been added. Podcast AV should be much snappier now.
fixed several exporting bugs when using special characters and punctuation
added the ability to restrict the size of a podcast's pictures to a prefered maximum size. If there's white space around a picture smaller than the prefered size, then that white space is filled with the background color.
all images are now converted to high quality JPEG for export. This produces smaller podcast sizes without negatively affecting quality.
It's now possible to drag a picture onto the image well in the chapter info view even if "Use Previous Chapter's Picture" is checked. Doing so simply turns "Use Previous Chapter's Picture" off.
Universal Binary.
