Three dictionary opening scripts for use with Script Editor, Smile, or Script Debugger that are often faster and/or more convenient than the editors' own dictionary-selection facilities. One script offers just the dictionaries of currently running, scriptable applications. Another specialises in the contents of the ScriptingAdditions folders. The third targets applications in OS X's CoreServices folder.
Just run the relevant script from your preferred script menu and select the required name from the displayed list.
The CoreServices script is for OS X only, of course. The others work in OS 8.6, OS 9.2.2, Jaguar, and Tiger, and probably in Panther too.
