Open Copy of User Log is an AppleScript written for the AOL Instant Messenger's script folder. It opens the user-specified AIM Logfile.

This script opens a COPY of the log, so you won't damage the original if you're still chatting with that buddy. If you don't own a copy of BBEdit, or don't want your logs to open in BBEdit, you can change the script to open the log file in another application.

Completly freeware.
