With NETime, each day is divided into 360 degrees rather than 24 hours; 0° corresponds to 12:00AM midnight (GMT), the start of the day. Each degree of NET time is subdivided into 60 NET minutes; each NET minute of time is further subdivded into 60 NET seconds.
NETime is a free Macintosh system extension that places a New Earth Time clock in your menu bar.
New Earth Time also simplifies date keeping since the year is no longer divided into months and weeks; the year begins on day and ends after day 364 or 365, depending on whether the year is a leap year or not.
