MistralQTTester is an FREE application which makes it possible to check the version of QuickTime Player on the user machine, and launch a application or a mov file automatically.

On Windows the user is not more obliged after installation of the QuickTime Player to start again the application manually, because it is launched automatically.
On Mac the QuickTime installation asks to restarting the computer. In this case the user must start again the application.

The configuration of the application is made via a "*.ini" file. You also have the possibility of configuring the messages posted before installation or in the case of a error.

For the Mac version the configuration can be made for Mac OS9 and Mac OS, thus making it possible to launch two different installations for QuickTime and two different applications according with the user platform.
