miniTunes is, well, exactly that. This widget is derived directly from the Apple branded iTunes Controller packaged with OSX.

It's simply been stripped of the extraneous controls such as shuffle, repeat, and time slider in favor of a wholy elegant circular control. Personally, I didn't feel the need for the other controls in my dashboard, and I could do without the green display that it used by default as well.

This widget is a pleasant reduction. Bring the simplistic beauty of the iPod to your dashboard with miniTunes.
