Make Disk Image is a droplet that creates a Mac OS X disk image (dmg) of any file or folder dropped onto it. For unknown reasons, the Finder doesn't give any way to do this, and using Disk Utility to do it is cumbersome.

You can use this droplet in one of three ways.
• Double-click the droplet. It will ask you to choose a file to archive.
• Drop a file or folder onto the droplet.
• Put the droplet into the Files folder of Big Cat (free) and you can use it from the Finder contextual menu.
