Make Color Table is a FaceSpan project (requires full FaceSpan app or demo) that generates a labeled table of FaceSpan's color indices. You can edit the X-Y increments to make a table of any size.

When done, take a screenshot of the window and use it as a visual guide of what color equals what number. Code unlocked, freeware, OK to improve/modify as long as you credit Russ.
