Mac DVD On Demand is a suite that lets you choose a movie using DVDPedia and have it play on your TV. Simply select a movie from the catalog, select a remote Mac to play it on, and click play. There are two bundles to install, one made for the player that is hooked up to the TV, and the other is made for the laptop you would use to choose the movie and control the Player. You can install both bundles if you plan on selecting the movie and playing it on the same machine. MacDVDRemote is included. This is a standalone application that starts up when you choose your movie and lets you control playback as if you were on the remote machine. All keyboard shortcuts have been properly mapped.

You could be sitting on the couch, choose the movie you would like to watch using DVDPedia and have it start playing.
