LaTeXiT is a little utility designed to quickly typeset LaTeX equations, in order to drag'n drop the result into other applications. It is heavily inspired by Latex Equation Editor.
There are two versions, one for Tiger and one for Panther (separate downloads, Panther version available on LaTeXiT's web site).
Requirements:
Mac OS X 10.4 or later with a working installation of LaTeX, packaging latex, dvips, epstopdf and gs.
What's New:
changed history/library file format, to make it more stable and extensible;
it is now possible to disable spell checking in the preferences;
fixed a rare and erratic bug that could hang LaTeXiT at startup;
added a known bug in the documentation about a random font change.
