Many people may not know this, but there is a short and easy URL format that you can use for Apple's Knowledge Base articles.

The Knowledge Base URL script, when given an article number, generates a URL for the Apple Knowledge Base. The resulting URL is copied to the clipboard, with or without angle brackets. The script works equally well in OS X or OS 9 and earlier.
