KeyTools is a set of 8 functions used to manipulate the contents of input text strings to produce keys or indexes. The keys or indexes can then be used to access the text via search screens. KeyTools can be enhanced by using SoundsLike to generate phonetic codes for keys.

KeyTools includes the following functions:
• Title Code
• Author Code
• Extract Data
• Extract Keys
• Prepare Keys for Indexing
• Number of Keys
• Strip Characters
• Replace Characters.

What's New:
Updated source code and a Mac OS X native extension. No changes were made to the functions.
