iChat Emotimaker is a simple program designed to allow you to use custom smilies with iChat, something that Apple doesn't easily allow you to do without modifying complicated system files. Fortunately, iChat Emotimaker can do this all for you, and provides an intuitive interface for creating and editing smileypacks.

You can easily choose the name, the ASCII representations, and the image for an unlimited number of smilies in each smileypack.

Once you're finished perfecting your smilies, you can install them into iChat with just one click! And if you use Proteus or Adium instead, iChat Emotimaker also allows you to create valid emoticon sets for these IM programs as well.
