iBlog is an elegant desktop blogging application that makes authoring and publishing your personal blogs a breeze.

Unlike other blogging sytems, you don't have to be an expert database administrator or a perl programmer to setup and use iBlog.

You can preview and publish your blogs to your iDisk with a single click of a button.

With iBlog you can create different blogs for your personal interests, hobbies, work activities, projects, tasks and anything you like to write about. You can create multiple categories under each blog to further organize your entries.

You can quickly view all the entries under each blog and category by clicking on its name. You can sort the entries by either title or date of creation by clicking on the column. You can see all the entries entered on a specific day by clicking on that day in the calendar view.

Adding new blogs, categories and entries is a snap with sliding sheets. You can preview your blogs before publishing. iblog will create the complete set of html files and directory structure and launch your default web browser to preview the locally published pages. With a single click on the publish button you can publish your blogs to your iDisk. Optionally you can copy the entire folder of locally published pages to your own web server.

The published blogs have an elegant looking homepage which displays the ten most recent entries. The archives links let the user navigate to a collection of entries by day, month and year. The category link let the user browse the entries by category.

iBlog also generates a RSS/XML file for all your blogs. This is a feed file that lets other people subscribe to your blog. You can easily subscribe to other blogs and news feeds using the blog subscription option. The subscribed blog names are shown in a different color to distinguish them from the local blogs. Clicking on a subscribed blog name will reveal a html view that shows the entries (titles and descriptions) in the subscribed blog. You can click on the title of an entry to go to the full entry. iBlog opens the full entry in your default web browser.

iBlog lets you search for keywords in the title and contents of entries, email your friends to let them know about your published blogs and edit all your entries from a simple edit window.
