HexEditor is a Mac OS X utility that allows viewing/manipulating raw data inside files.

It can show data using various encodings as integers (hex or decimal), floating points, binary, character strings... It now allows searching for hex/ascii strings.

Here are some key features of "HexEditor":
View data as decimal, hexadecimal, signed, unsigned, swapped, binary or any string encoding
Edit data in place
Search for hex or ASCII character sequence
Open special files (device...)
Synchronous, comparative navigation across multiple files.

What's New:
Added field disclosure to allow better screen usage
Added preferences panel, uppercase/lower case hex, work on copy, allowing editing by default.
Corrected problem that made opening multiple special files simultaneously.
