It is released under GNU General Public License ( GPL ).

After download you can INSTALL AND WORK AFTER FEW MINUTES.
Now you can install all files with a simple installer and you can run Grass 5.4 and Grass 6.0 in Mac OS X from an icon in Finder. Double clic on file and you enter in the power of Grass.

What's New:
The package includes GRASS GIS 6.1.cvs with new Grass Libraries (v.20060326). -- double clic on "grasslib.mpkg" file to install grass libraries; -- drag "grass61cvs" application inside /Applications/Grass folder.
ATTENTION !! IT DOES NOT REQUIRE THE PRESENCE OF grass60 application.
The start application is multilanguage (english, italian and spanish now) and you can choose your language inside Grass and which terminal to work and other.
It's much more updated than GRASS 6.0.0 and it contains last changes (new GIS Manager, sqlite driver, qgis integration with a small script and much more). It's stable and it's useful for developing. Use it and report the problems to Grass Bug report in Grass site or in Grass Mailing list. It's Tiger compatible.
It includes many new commands.
It works in new MacIntel inside Rosetta emulation but nviz.
