Tired of having to write your own toolbar delegate every time? Moaning about Interface Builder's lack of toolbar support?
Finally, a toolbar that can be used in Interface Builder! GenericToolbar is easy to use, convenient, and totally free, which is a great combination for any developer. Coolest of all, GenericToolbar supports Interface Builder's "Test Interface" mode!
The GenericToolbar package contains an Interface Builder palette and a set of classes to include in your project, most notably the NSCoding-compliant subclasses of NSToolbar and NSToolbarItem. Step-by-step instructions are also included. Unfortunately, a few bugs are still present in GenericToolbar, though most of them have finally been eliminated. While nothing should happen, it's still probably a good idea to save a copy of your nib files before adding GenericToolbar classes.
Requirements:
Xcode Tools.
