FlightMath is an extremely useful utility for leisure pilots and flight simulator fans. Designed to replace the functionality of the archaic and hard-to-use ASA E-6B Flight Computer, it instantly and easily calculates density altitude and wind correction angles, and performs fuel consumption and temperature conversion calculations. It can even work with mixed units!
FlightMath 2.2 is the Mac OS X-native version.
Here are some key features of "FlightMath":
Fuel analysis, with mixed units (How far will 3 liters of fuel take me if I burn 8.1 gallons per hour?)
Speed and distance calculations, with mixed units (If I fly at 75 mph for 23 minutes, how many nautical miles will I fly?)
Temperature conversions (What is the Fahrenheit equivalent of 24°C?)
Density altitude calculations
Instant weather data retrieval for most airports without leaving FlightMath
Instant radar image and radar loop retrieval and display for US weather stations
Direct, easy conversion between all the common units of measurement.
Limitations:
30 days trial.
What's New:
Added TAF
Fixed airport names and ICAOs in Radar
Switched location of Radar buttons and menus to top of pane.
