FileSalvage is a powerful application for recovering deleted files from your drive or volume.
FileSalvage will recover files you have accidentally deleted, or files that have become unreadable due to media faults, or files that were on a drive that you initialize/format your hard drive without first backing up the data on it.
File Salvage is device and file system independent. You can recover files from a normal hard drive, USB key, PC disk, Linux Disk, FLASH card, scratched CD's, and almost anything else that you can plug into your computer.

Safety first - FileSalvage will never write to the disk or device you aresalvaging data from.This makes the software risk free of causing further damage to your disk, as it does not attempt to repair a disk but insteadsimply reads it, and copies the relevant files to a destination of your chosing.o Works anywhere - FileSalvage is device and file system independent.
You can recover files from a hard drive, Digital Camera, USB key, PC disk,FLASH card, scratched CD's, and most storage media that work with your computer.
Skips free space - On HFS+ volumes, you can limit FileSalvage to scan only the free space of a volume to recover files from.
Recovers files after a disk or device has been formatted - Got an initialized disk or other device that had files you want back? No problem, as longas you didn’t perform a secure erase, FileSalvage will recover your files from the new initialized drive.o
Recovers files from corrupt media - Corruption does not detain FileSalvage. It will process any intact data on the disk and recover wholeor partial files wherever they are found.
FileSalvage works on faulty hardware - FileSalvage may be able torecover data from mechanically unsounded disks or devices.
