FAwindowing is a script template that can be attached to a folder using AppleScript Folder Actions. When the target window opens and the script runs for the first time, Window Size, Position, and View can be stored and performed automatically next time the window opens.

FAwindowing works nicely with folders placed in the Finder window ToolBar.
