ExtendedMenuItem is an extension to the built-in MenuItem class that allows for easy modification of command key glyphs and setting of ICON/cicn images by index (from a resource).

Also provides a method of getting the menu items MenuRef/MenuHandle and menu index.

Does not depend on hard-coded menu ids or indices.

Requirements:
REALbasic 4 or later.
