Apart from beeing a reliable ftp/http multi-file downloader (25 files at a time), Download Manager’s power lies in resuming interrupted downloads.
Quick start
The first time you launch Download Manager, it creates on the Desktop a folder called DM downloads; files you will download will go into this folder (see also the special topic Download folder).
If you are an experienced Internet-user you don’t need so many instructions: write an address into the Address text-field and click the Start! button or drag an Internet-location-file onto Download Manager’s icon: in due time (depending on how big is the file you are downloading) you will get your downloaded file in DM downloads folder.
If things don’t work, it might be that you need a proxy-connection, or the site expects the Allow cookies option to be turned ON.
Tip: Windows and Macintosh (classic) users: connect to your IPS BEFORE launching Download Manager.
What's New:
Added 'Scheduled Download' and 'Shut-down Computer after downloading' functions.
