DiskLibrary is a remote media cataloging application for Mac OS X Tiger. Indispensable if you have a lot of volumes or optical media discs to keep track of.
Here are some key features of "DiskLibrary":
Makes it easy to catalog all of your CD-ROM's, DVD-ROM's, and removable drives.
Catalog the full file structure from CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, remote hard-disks, zip drives, USB sticks, etc.
Creates beautiful thumbnails of images, movies, PDF document covers, AAC/MP3 album art.
Look inside ZIP-files
Gather meta-data like AAC/MP3 tags, EXIF/IPTC image info, PDF info, Word/RTF document info.
Use smart-catalog folders to store search results just like iTunes.
Search in all catalogs for files based on keyword, date, category, size, etc.
Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger Universal Binary.
Limitations:
Beta will expire after November 1st 2007.
What's New:
Fixed crash while importing certain CD's/DVD's.
Fixed some redraw glitches.
Added a confirmation before deleting a catalog.
When double-clicking a file and the catalog is not mounted a window is shown with information about the catalog (name, location and type).
DiskLibrary now waits on the mounting of the disk before opening the requested file.
Added drag-and-drop support for volumes.
Added tooltips for catalogs so that the full catalog name can be displayed.
