DayOfYearViewer provides very simple services - presenting the day of year (useful in science applications) and date in a monthly format for all dates in the Gregorian calendar. DOYV has forward and backward buttons for months, years, and decades.

This is a simple enhancement and extension of the Developer Connection's sample code CalendarView, reworked to display the day of year and renamed to prevent confusion.
