DashOpener Widget is an alternative to using Dashboard's own Widget Bar to access your widgets. DashOpener provides you with a smaller and quicker interface to the widgets you have installed. Now DashOpener also lets you manage your widgets right from the dashboard (activate/deactivate widgets or move them to the trash).
It lists all installed Widgets by name and opens them when you click the widget's name. When you don't need DashOpener, click on the title and DashOpener will minimize to take away as little space as possible. Customize the number of columns and the width of columns to suit your needs.
Users of the previous version of DashOpener may be interested in the Version history which lists the new features of DashOpener.
What's New:
Now supports displaying widgets in multiple columns.
Columns can be resized to fit the user’s needs.
Added a “management” interface where widgets can be enabled, disabled or moved to the trash.
When disabling a widget, the string .disabled is appended to the file name of the widget. This makes the widget invisible to DashOpener and also the Dashboard bar itself. by using this suffix, DashOpener’s management features are also compatible to the preference pane “Widget Manager.”
Many more enhancements.
