Apache is the world's most popular web server. Version 2 includes many enhancements, including performance increases and a multi-threaded architecture.
Complete Apache 2 is the easiest way to install and setup an Apache 2 web server on Mac OS X. Complete Apache 2 installs the standard Apache 2 software distribution and works "out of the box" with absolutely no configuration necessary.
This version installs with a Mac OS X Package Installer, and will not interfere with the apache installed with the operating system. You can find the PHP DSO add-on at the download page.
