The 'ClassicUnfreezer' is a Macintosh application tool designed to change internal settings of the Classic OS which prevent it from operating correctly.
The typical problem, experienced by the user, is that the Classic OS startup progress window approaches the point of completion, but then the progression stops.
I personally experienced this problem, with version 10.3.9. As it is likely that the problem also occurs in other OS versions, I would appreciate feedback on any other OS versions this tool corrects. I, like many long time Mac Users, still require use of the Classic Environment every once in a while. Sometime in the duration of MacOSX updates and patches from 10.3.6 to 10.3.9 the MacOSX changed in a way that caused problems for my Classic OS Environment. Given the frustration I had experienced when the problem initially occurred, I decided to release a tool that others could use to immediately restore their own Classic OS environment.
What's New:
Minor internal shared library code updates. The user should see no changes in behavior.
Requirements:
Mac OS X versions 10.3.9 or 10.4.3 or later
Classic OS must be installed.
