ChordsX is the further development of Patterns X, the melodic pattern (loop) creator.
With this app, created melodic shapes are harmonized with an infinite variety of modal chords that can be developed into full compositions for use in film scores, pop, classical and jazz works. There is an option to have the app generate drum parts and harmonic rhythm to the set of chords to realize the creations in a musical context. with the full version the creations can be saved as one or two track MIDI files with or without drums, or as data files that opened by the app.
Limitations:
Only 2 chords saved in Demo Version.
What's New:
Added the ability to save two-chord files either as data or GM MIDI with drums and harmonic rhythm in the DEMO version so the user can test the save functions.
Added more file extensions and default file names so all save features are covered.
Added an Infinite-create toggle just for "fun" listening.
Added multi-instrument Play with the drums-demo selection.
Tightened up the code so the app runs faster on slower machines.
Cleaned up some notation issues.
Added a Kagi link – as of this posting, Kagi still not set up for purchasing the app.
