CellSynth is the software that music producers have been dreaming of. It's a CD quality synthesiser, sample player, DSP processor and sequencer all in one production tool. Used in conjunction with your preferred sequencer it's completely awesome.
The emergence of several software based synthesisers shows that the time is right for this sort of development but nothing currently on the market covers as many bases as comprehensively as CellSynth.

Unparalleled implementation of sample looping, modulation and multiple sample loops. Synchronised playback of up to 36 audio samples, with the ability to instantly tune loops to tempo. Literally drag a sound file into CellSynth and with 2 or 3 mouse clicks it can be looping or playing in time with your composition.

Powerful DSP effects including any combination of reverb, delays, envelopes and resonant filters.
Faithfully recreate the sound of classic analog and digital synths.
All the features of a large modular analog synthesizer, LFOs, oscillators, filters, envelopes (ADSR), noise generators, random (sample and hold) generators and mixing modules.

For best results you will need a 350MHz G3/G4 or better running OS 9.1
CellSynth will run on a 233MHz G3 iMac with OS 8.5
CellSynth is NOT native to OS X but runs in Classic 9.1
The faster the Mac the more CellSynth can do!
At least version 3.0 of Sound Manager.
Your Mac must be able to play stereo 16 bit audio at 44100.
A monitor capable of displaying 1's of colours.
