Bugs On The Run is an artificial life simulation where organisms (bugs) move in a 2D world and try to survive.
There are various ways to control the simulation and there is an emphasis on high performance for some settings.
2 applications are included optimized for either graphics or non-graphics speed (turbo vs. hyper).
C source code is also included.
What's New:
30 FPS menu option for much faster graphics simulations.
Set Var slider menu doesn't dim out after being chosen, so that you can recall the slider if it's hidden behind another window by choosing Set Var again.
When changing to step speed, after stepping it remembers the stop/continue setting from the previous speed. (i.e. if simulation was running before choosing step, then after changing to another speed it will resume running automatically, and v.v).
Show FPS in hyper speed is closer to reality, and shows more CPS.
Changes to the Read Me file.
Changes to the help dialog in the preferences.
Other minor changes to the source code file.
