AddressX will bring the contacts from your company's Global Address List (GAL) directly into your OS X Address Book. What does that mean for you? It means that your Exchange GAL contacts will look and act just like the other contacts already in your Address Book.
Search them, export them as vCards, sync them to your cell phone and take them with you. Take full advantage of the new system-wide address book instantly. Use your Exchange contacts seamlessly from applications like Mail, iCal, and many others.
Limitations:
AddressX will only download the first 25 contacts found in the Global Address List
Requirements:
Microsoft Exchange Server 2/2003 with latest service packs
WebDAV (Outlook Web Access).
What's New:
added a "Contact Information" field that can be used to add user-specified content into the "Note" field when updating GAL entries into the Address Book ... useful to users who want to filter their Address Book entries when syncing to devices
added preferences to set the timeout for both the initial networking connection and for subsequent communications
changed the behavior to avoid trying to update if the Exchange server is not reachable (e.g., network connection is not available, route is not available, etc.)
fixed a problem that could prevent authentication in some instances
fixed a problem where an incorrect message indicating a login failure was given if the Exchange server was unavailable
added the ability to specify a custom FBA login URL (required for some customized Exchange server logins — should only be used at Snerdware's direction)
