AB Transfer is a simple yet powerful application, which imports contact data from external sources into your OS X address book.
You might ask, why not import contact data by hand. Well, that depends... If you need to add one or two new records, just do it by hand. 'AB Transfer' would be of little help.
But if you need to import some other source - contact data from your mobile, from a windows system, a database or exported data of a Yahoo email account - it's simply expensive and error prone to type in all data by hand.
AB Transfer imports your data with just a few clicks. If your know OS X's address book, you already know AB Transfer's user interface.
As always, 'AB Transfer' has a simple streamlined user interface. All in all, you have to follow 5 simple steps to import data from some source:
• Choose a data source
• Define input settings (row format, text encoding and more)
• Preview the pre-processed input data aligned in rows and columns
• Map input fields to address book fields using an address book like view
• And finally import the data
All in all, a process of less than 5 minutes. Thus, 'AB Transfer' is a big time saver.
