A Farewell to Kings is like no other solitaire you've ever seen. It plays more like a strategy game and is not easily mastered.
In the game, the cards do not connect in the normal "linear" fashion. Instead, they connect two-dimensionally, by matching suits to suits and ranks to ranks.
Attaching four-of-a-kind in a square formation completes a "book" of cards which can be removed from the board.
Here are some key features of "A Farewell to Kings":
part strategy, part solitaire
fun and challenging
subtle and complex.
Limitations:
14 days trial.
What's New:
fixed a bug with Mac OS 10.3.x where the game settings could not be changed
fixed a Windows XP crash bug when dragging cards outside the window
cleaned up the instructions window under Mac OS 9.
