TimeCache 6.0 makes it quick and easy to track your time and expenses on billable projects. You enter time and expenses in a Daily Log that's like an electronic timesheet. You can see your day's work reflected here, plus any expenses you incur that you want to make sure you bill for.
TimeCache is for independent consultants and small companies who charge clients for their time.
It lets you easily keep track of time and billing on projects you work on for different clients. It offers extensive reporting, exporting and printing capabilities.
Here are some key features of "TimeCache":
TimeCache works the way you do. TimeCache 6.0 makes it quick and easy to track your time and expenses on billable projects. You enter time and expenses in a Daily Log that's like an electronic timesheet. You can see your day's work reflected here, plus any expenses you incur that you want to make sure you bill for. New Default Sets let you quickly load your Daily Log screen at the beginning of the day with a set of projects you're likely to work on.
TimeCache makes it easy to enter data. You create listings of items like clients, projects and billing categories for time and expenses. TimeCache 6.0 offers a List Manager where you can quickly add, remove, edit, import and export list items for instant access when you're recording your time and expenses.
TimeCache makes it easy to record charges in the Daily Log based on your listings. You can simply choose them from popup menus or start typing and let TimeCache complete your typing for you.
When you're done entering time and expenses for the day, you post your entries to Job Sheets with a single menu command. Each project has its own Job Sheet. This is where you go to quickly review charges and see how you're doing against your Project estimate. It's handy for reporting your status to a client or pulling together the numbers for an estimate on a similar project. And, of course, for determining how much to bill your client.
TimeCache 6.0's report capabilities let you view reports on-screen in a wide range of styles (date views, date range reports, single- and multi-project reports, single- and multi-project summaries). They're easy to customize to your liking. Once you've developed a style you like, you can save a report layout template to re-use that formatting at the click of a mouse. You can also print reports and export report data for use in other applications.
TimeCache 6.0's powerful new invoicing feature extends the report functionality even further. You can quickly create invoices for any or all of the projects you're working on for a client. You can make adjustments to or delete entries from any invoice, and record payments to keep a running list of payables. You can use customizable color coding to see at a glance any problems with aging payments.
Integrated with OS X. You can enter your time manually, or let TimeCache time you while you work. TimeCache also lets you import calendar events from iCal. While you're working in another application, you can stop and resume timing from a popup menu in the TimeCache Dock icon. You can add clients to TimeCache from OS X's Address Book, and export TimeCache client listings to Address Book.
Another valuable feature in TimeCache 6.0 lets you check all your projects against estimates with a single command, to quickly find any approaching or have beyond their project estimates. And there are many other features to help you make the most of your time, so you can make sure you get paid for every second's worth.
