Who needs purple? Red is the new purple! The original Stickies widget has a great color set except for one glaring omission: red! Because the purple ends up looking nearly identical to the pink, I decided to replace it with red.

The original Stickies widget has a great color set except for one glaring omission: red!

Because the purple ends up looking nearly identical to the pink, I decided to replace it with red.

Once installed in the user’s Library/Widgets directory, (automatically, if you’re using Safari) it overrides the default Stickies widget that is packaged with OS X Tiger in the Dashboard (but does not remove it from the system).
