QCad is a 2D CAD system for Linux and various Unices, and "that other operating system". The developers main goals are to build a stable, fast and easy to use CAD for everyone. One doesn't need any knowledge of a CAD program to start working with QCad.

QCad Professional ($26 US) comes with limited e-mail support and product updates for one year at no additional cost. The QCad Professional license holder can use QCad on any platform of choice and also switch between platforms.
