Namely is possibly the fastest way to open applications. And unlike some other launchers, it doesn't require any learning.

You simply hit your preferred keyboard shortcut to show it and start typing part of an application's name. It shows you a list of matches and narrows it down as you type.

Most of the time, one or two letters are enough, especially since Namely learns your habits and makes your most-used apps even quicker to access. It's basically Spotlight for applications, only much faster.

Namely lets you get to all your applications quickly by typing part of their name.

It will show you a list of matches and you keep typing to narrow them down. Actually, two or three letters are enough most of the time. When you've found what you're looking for, hit Return to launch it.

What's New:
Built to run natively on Intel Macs. (If you have an Intel iMac or MacBook Pro, please let me know if this version is working for you.)
After detaching an external display, Namely will ensure its window is in the visible screen area.
Pressing Escape when the text field is empty will now hide Namely.
Namely now hides itself when you switch to another application, so it won't get in the way when you switch applications subsequently.
An open-hand cursor is shown when you move the mouse over the window, to make it more obviously movable.
Apps on removable media, including disk images, are now excluded.
Apps that have been moved to the trash from any volume (not just the startup disk) are now excluded.
