"It's About Time" to learn iPhoto is, quite possibly, the best way for new users to learn the basics of iPhoto. Before our product, you had to buy a 395 page book to learn how to use iPhoto.

Our research shows that most beginners just want to learn the basics - how to import their photos from their camera, organize them into albums, edit using crop, and share via email. We also found that people prefer learning by watching someone and then trying it themselves.

So, that's exactly what we created. Saied - former Apple employee and instructor - will show you how to use the basics of iPhoto through videos and notes and have you will try right after. Our tests show that beginners learn much faster and they have fun doing it. Guess it really is 'about time.'

It’s about time someone created a learning tool that takes advantage of today’s technology. “It’s About Time” to learn iPhoto is designed for iPhoto beginners. You’ll learn how to import photos and delete the photos off your camera; Organize photos in albums so you can always get to the photos you care about; Edit photos using the crop tool; Finally, share your photos through email. We found that people prefer learning by watching someone and then trying it themselves.

“It’s About Time” to learn iPhoto is completely interactive. After you watch Saied, the instructor, show you the how to do something, you’ll try right. You’ll have a great time practicing and perfecting the basics of what iPhoto has to offer.

We are taking at home learning to a new level by adding a face to the mix. Learning something with someone that you can see is so much more beneficial than learning through a thick book or video with audio in the background. Saied (a former Apple employee) will guide you through each lesson in 3 steps. One, you’ll just talk about what you’re about to do.

Sometimes features are confusing and that’s where Saied rocks. He’ll explain everything in layman’s terms. Two, you’ll see Saied perform the feature so you know exactly how to do it (you can watch him do it as many times as you need until you understand). Three, you’ll actually perform the feature. It’s really fun!

Don’t worry about memorizing any steps. We’ve added a sheet of paper behind the iPhoto window that lists out every step to use the feature. As you can see in the above screenshot, we’re learning how to organize photos. If you rollover a step, a spotlight will automatically show you exactly where to click to perform that step incase you forgot. How cool is that?!
