DayChaser is a calendar and scheduling application that not only allows you to organize your personal time but can also organize your work habits. Sporting a very user friendly Mac OS X native user interface, DayChaser lets you create and manage multiple calendar documents simultaneously. Each calendar document contains its own unique set of scheduled entries and To-Do items that can be customized so your personal organizer is truly personal. Features such as repeating entries, customizable filters, user definable categories, color coded entries, customizable views, contextual menus, date range queries, automatic email generation, calendar/itinerary printing and executable tasks truly set DayChaser apart from other scheduling programs.

Look at Each Day Your Way

Display your calendar entries in year, month, week, day, and list views. Easily navigate through each view with a click of your mouse. Each view is fully customizable so you are able to change colors, fonts, the toolbar, or even choose which day to start your week. For each view, filters can be applied to isolate specific entries making it easy to keep track of your activities. Calendars may be viewed in any time zone and entries may be posted in time zones different from the calendar document.

Post Five Kinds of Entries

Post Appointments, Events, Memos, General Tasks, and Executable Tasks to any date in DayChaser. Appointments cover any time period from a minute to several days. Full-day events cover a single day. Memos are notes added to a date and time. General Tasks are events with no duration. Executable Tasks are automatic operations you schedule. Any number of email contacts may be associated to an entry. These contacts can automatically receive email notifications or be the recipients of custom messages. Any number of files or URLs can be attached to a calendar entry so all related files can be quickly accessed. In DayChaser, you can drag and drop entries, copy and paste entries, import an export entries, or set up entries to repeat for any interval you can imagine making it easy to manage your time.

Make a List

Need to keep track of your tasks? With DayChaser all entries except for executables can be made into To-Do items. Regardless of the task at hand you can add it to your list of projects. All To-Do items can be viewed as a list in the Calendar Drawer or in the separate List Entries window. Just click on the checkbox adjoining any To-Do entry when you complete your task. Furthermore you can filter all entries in the Year, Month, Week, and Day views to only display To-Do items. DayChaser makes it easy to make a list and check it once.

iCal Compatible

DayChaser is a lot like iCal, in fact it is an iCal alternative. If you’re not satisfied with iCal then give DayChaser a try. With DayChaser you can easily import/export any iCal Calendar into a DayChaser Calendar. This not only means you can convert your iCal Calendar into a DayChaser Calendar you can also take advantage of the hundreds of iCal Calendars available online. Import any iCal Calendar into any one of your DayChaser Calendars or create a new Calendar and import specific events. Choose from a multitude of categories, any set of events you can think of is available for free.

Alerts

DayChaser can be instructed to automatically notify you when an event or appointment draws near. Each entry can be set to trigger a notification whenever you specify. Notifications can be posted minutes, hours or days prior to an actual event. Reminders can be specified to repeatedly notify you until an event comes due so you won't miss it. Get notification of upcoming events by onscreen message, email, or both. DayChaser does not have to be running for notifications to be posted. A background application monitors your entries and automatically alerts you so you won't miss out.

Make it Personal

You can customize every aspect of DayChaser using colors, fonts, icons, and filters for easy navigation and organization. Since DayChaser calendars are documents, you can create as many as you like. This is a boon to users who wish to have different calendars depicting different areas in their life. For example, you may decide that you would like separate work and personal life calendars. DayChaser gives you the capability to use separate calendars and to manage them completely independent of the others. You can even drag entries between the documents.
