Daily Startup X is a Mac OS X port of The Dailies.
Daily Startup X is an Applescript that allows you to have items launched on login no more than once per day, or once per weekday.
Place anywhere (/Applications, ~/Applications, or ~/Library/Scripts would be good locations) and add to your Login Items (System Preferences->Accounts->Login Items). If it doesn't already exist, a folder ~/Library/Daily Startup Items will be created.
Files in that folder will be launched when you log in, but no more often then once per day. If you want items to be launched only on certain days of the week, you may create folders inside ~/Library/Daily Startup Items. Name them after the weekday (Monday, Tuesday, etc.) and place files in there.
