Crossword Puzzle Helper was developed to find words with a certain length when you do not know all the letters. Type in the search word using "?" for each unknown letter and press the "Start" button. All words meeting the search criteria will be displayed in the table. To search for another word, simply enter a new search word and click on the "Start" button. The table will be cleared and the new results will be displayed.
The default word set has over forty-eight thousand words. You may use the Maintenance window to add new words or delete words in your word set. The first time you launch the utility, the default word set will be loaded and saved. When you next launch the utility, your word set (with changes) will be loaded and when you quit, the current word set will be saved. You may also revert to the default word set by clicking on the "Use Default Word Set" button.
