CPUswitch allows you to change the CPU speed setting (high/auto/low) of your Mac by a click. It shows the current speed setting, load of the last minute and the current CPU usage in percent. These values are not automatically updated to prevent unnecessarily consumption of CPU time.
CPUswitch enables you to switch the CPU performance settings.
If you want to monitor your CPU constantly, please go to the "Preferences" menu and enable the "calculate CPU" and "calculate Power Source" checkboxes. This will increase you system load for approximately 2%.

shows the charging status (can be "charging", "discharging" or "AC connected") on OSX 10.4.x
shows the remaining time to charge the battery (OSX 10.4.x only)
shows how much time is left when running on battery (OSX 10.4.x only).
Requirements:
The user account you are working with has to be an administrator.
Every time you start CPUswitch you need to set the admin password for you account (in the application preferences) in order to get the application to work.
