ClassicDraw XT makes Quark's non-Mac OS X native applications usable with the Classic environment by fixing a number of annoying redraw bugs in XPress. The two fixed bugs include:The first version of ClassicDraw XT fixed a problem with XPress 3.3x and XPress 4.x which caused the document not to be redrawn when you switched from another application into XPress.

This meant that every time you switched to another application to read you email or copy a file then the document view got corrupted. While Quark have fixed this problem in XPress 5.0, ClassicDraw XT made older versions of XPress usable in MacOS X.
