Clarion is a music utility which allows you to practice and be quizzed on your ability to recognize musical intervals.
Clarion helps you improve your ability to recognize musical intervals.

What's New:
Major improvements have been made to the configuration of "interval sets" (called "scales" in previous versions). The new configuration options finally make it possible to constructs interval sets that quiz the user as expected for descending intervals! You can explicitly define your interval sets based on whichever ascending and descending intervals you desire (within an octave).
A "Practice Piano" has been added ot the user interface, making it easier to "grasp" for the right answer while taking a quiz. If you're stuck on an interval, just pull down the piano drawer and peck at the keys until you hear something similar to the interval being played.
The audio generation capabilitiies have been brought up to date with support for the latest audio API from Apple: CoreAudio. With this support, Clarion can play intervals through Apple's built-in software synthesizer and through third party software synthesizers packaged as AudioUnits.
