This typing tutor with amazing openGL graphics is the most entertaining way to learn how to type on the Mac.
Loosely based on the classic arcade game Missile Defender, you must destroy incoming asteroids before they destroy your strange green ovaloid defenders.
Learn to type or just improve your typing skills.
I would like to point out one "hack" that might add the Arcade Typing Tutor's utility. If you are so inclined you may change the word list that the program draws words from. To access the word list right click on the Arcade Typing Tutor's executable and choose the pop-up menu item 'Show Package Contents'. A new finder window will appear with one folder title 'Contents'. Within this folder is another folder called 'Resources' which contains a file 'word.txt'. This file contains the words that are used in the game. Make sure you make a backup before you change this file. Enjoy.
