The AmazonPedia widget allows you to search every Amazon site for Books, DVDs, CDs and Games, as well as giving you access to all your pedias at once. Along with the search results, the widget will tell you about the status of an item - whether you own it, if it's on your wish list or if somebody borrowed it and when it's due back.
And thanks to the powerful search that combines all of the pedias into one, you don't have to switch back and forth between applications anymore when looking for an entry.
Search results
From the top bar of the widget, choose what you'd like to search for in Amazon - Books, DVDs, CDs or Games - or whether you'd like to do a local search of the Pedias. Then enter a keyword into the search field and hit return. On the backside of the widget you can choose which Amazon site you'd like to search (US, Canada, UK, Germany, France or Japan) and how you'd like the search to be sorted. You can also choose which Pedias to include in your localized search.
Individual results' page
As developers we are affiliated with Amazon's webservices - the service that gives us access to the Amazon information - and as such our developer tag is embedded in all of the Amazon links this widget provides. This means that whenever you click on one of those links and end up buying something at Amazon we receive a small percentage from Amazon for referring a customer. This is at no extra cost to you and on a totally anonymous basis. So in the future, if you are thinking about buying something at Amazon, consider using the AmazonPedia widget since you'll be supporting Mac shareware development at the same time. Thanks !
