StockWatch for Pocket PC 6.1 is finance software developed by L3Solutions, LLC.
With StockWatch you can see at a glance the daily performance of your portfolio's holdings, but there is much more. StockWatch retrieves the high and low price for the day, trade volumes, and the most recent traded price (on 15 minute delay). You can even retrieve index values. Up, down and even arrow symbols let you assess your daily standing at a glance.
The version 6.0 upgrade features numerous improvements such as integrated Backup and Restore, enhanced user interface, greater performance and stability, Instant Activation, and more! With Instant Activation you no longer have to worry about entering long registration codes, and your codes can never be lost in the mail! L3's Activation Wizard handles the entire registration and activation process instantly, using your PDA / smart phone's wireless connection or connected cradle. Just enter your email address, and L3 takes care of the rest! Upgrades are free for registered users.
With StockWatch's portfolio edit capability, you enter the trading symbol for your stock or index, the number of shares purchased, your purchase price, and the date purchased. Then when you retrieve the current trading data, StockWatch will automatically calculate the value of each holding, show your profit and loss, and even determine your ROI (return on investment) from the time of purchase.
StockWatch follows the Yahoo symbol conventions for indexes and exchanges. For an international stock you usually enter the ticker symbol and the market code. For example, Ahold trades on the London market as AHLNq.L, on the Berlin market as AHLN.BE, and on the NYSE as AHO (among many others). The best way to find the symbol you need is to visit finance.Yahoo.com and click Symbol Lookup.
L3Solutions does not provide stock values or republish stock values from our servers. StockWatch provides an easy to use mechanism for accessing Yahoo portfolio stock values from your PDA. Access to Yahoo is subject to Yahoo's terms of service. You must have signed for a membership (free) to Yahoo and be able to access finance.Yahoo.com to use StockWatch to download the portfolio csv from the Yahoo service. By downloading and installing StockWatch you certify that you are in compliance with the Yahoo terms and conditions.
Some internet service plans restrict access to the Internet by using proxy servers, firewalls, or WAP servers. Version 6.1 has implemented a new method of connection that will work with proxy servers in more caes, but still requires a full internet data connection. Test the Get Values menu option in the demo version of the application before purchase to make sure that StockWatch is compatible with your internet service

This is a demo version of the program. In order to use full version features, please go online and order a full version of StockWatch for Pocket PC 6.1. The full version is available at regnow and L3Solutions, LLC website for $14.00. StockWatch for Pocket PC 6.1 supports different languages (including english). It works with Windows Mobile PocketPC.
